The definition of belief in the Qur'an is complete devotion to Allah and Allah alone. The Hereafter is absolutely inescapable. The Believer is devoted to Allah because he knows he will certainly give an account of everything he did in the world... ( Read )

The majority of the people assume that if one understands the Arabic language, it means he is capable of understanding the Qur'an. They are also quick to dismiss anyone who has a point to make about the Qur'an's verses, if they are not an Arab or do not speak Arabic. A consistent feature of these sorts of people is that they themselves know little about the Qur'an... ( Read )
There is a prevalent culture among Muslims where they only view the Qur'an as a way of gaining reward for reciting out loud the Arabic letters correctly. Such people think that they hold the Qur'an in high esteem, but this only keeps them away from studying the Qur'an as they should. Parents teach their children how to pronounce the Arabic words and send their children to evening schools to learn to recite the Qur'an correctly. Such people do not deny the importance of the Qur'an, but their idea of the role of the Qur'an is extremely mistaken and shallow. It is merely to either gain reward for each letter recited or to validate Salah by reciting some short chapters. Members of this majority group may even enjoy listening to recitations of the Qur'an, not because of the message in the Verses, but to appreciate the melody, or for relaxation purposes!... ( Read )

14) The Only Legitimate Consumers of Earth's Blessings are the Believers
Allah has created all blessings on earth
solely for the purpose of mankind thanking and praising Him for it. This
includes all things in life, from the sweet taste of a fruit, the
fragrance of a
rose, the delightful clothes that we wear, or our spouses whom we enjoy, and
everything else we posses and find joy in.
Allah gives us these blessings solely so that we show thanks in return
and devote ourselves to Him in exchange.
Though Allah is needless, and rich beyond needs, He asks us to show
thanks and gratitude, to see if we can do our part. It is for this
reason, the disbelievers, those who deny the existence of Allah, do more
and more wrong each time they enjoy a blessing Allah gave them. This is
because they do not give in return, what Allah asked them for having
given them all that they needed and wanted.... (

A believer who understand that his or her duty is to uphold all the teachings of the Qur'an is on a refined path. None of the teachings of the Qur'an imposes impracticality or beyond reasonable obligations as stated in a verse we mentioned earlier. For example, a believer may dress according to his or her culture and tradition, though modestly and this is absolutely fine. He or she will not claim that another way of dressing such as the Arab style is better while dressing differently, since it is not from the Qur'an. There is no element of his or her faith which is not implemented at any moment. As stated, this is because the Qur'an is a guide which can be fully implemented easily. ( Read )

We will briefly look at how the true believer is saved from the woes of everyday life of the mass, and earns the good life in this world, promised by Allah... ( Read )

Those men who past the brink of death and died, all went through a phase. This phase is the most helpless moment in ones life. When they realised they had no other way but to turn to Allah for help, they most probably sincerely sought Allah's help in a manner which they never did before. In that moment, they surrendered themselves completely to the will of Allah... ( Read )
9) The Plight of the Hypocrites
The term "non-Practicing Muslim" is often used by ignorant people who have not grasped true faith as described in the Qur'an. Those who consider themselves "practicing" freely use the term as well as the group being referred to by the term. This term is used to describe a group of large number of people who have an Arabic name and have parents who are considered Muslim, but openly do not lead a life endorsed by Allah's religion...
